CANAAN — Superintendent Amanda Isabelle is pleased to announce that Ryan Limero has been selected as Interim Associate Principal of Indian River School.

Limero will succeed Associate Principal April Guinness, who has been named Interim Principal at Canaan Elementary School. He begins his new role on July 1.

"I am looking forward to this great opportunity and joining the IRS community," Limero said. "Although I am sad to leave the Enfield Village School, I’m excited to be working with many students at IRS that I have seen gone through EVS in my nine years there."

Limero holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Sociology, and Anthropology from Elmira College. He joined the Mascoma Valley School District upon graduation in 2014, serving as a classroom teacher at Enfield Village School.

While at Enfield Village he has served in several professional capacities, including as a member of the Report Card Committee, Clif Year of Book Advisory Committee, and the Professional Development Committee. He also served as a mentor teacher in the 2022-2023 school year.

Limero coached high school varsity soccer from 2015-2017, and he returned to coaching the program last fall.

“Ryan has made significant contributions to the District over nearly a decade of service, and I am confident that he will bring his signature energy, drive, and creativity to Indian River in his new leadership role,” Superintendent Isabelle said.
