Medications

All medication, whether prescription or over the counter, must be delivered to the Health Office in the original pharmacy container by the parent/guardian. In addition a new Medication Administration Authorization Form (for prescription medication) or Non-Prescription Medication Form (for over the counter medications) must be completed and submitted to the Health Office each school year per Mascoma Valley Regional School District School Board Policy. The school nurse may not administer any medication unless these guidelines are followed. Students who use Epinephrine Auto Injector or Asthma Inhaler may carry these medications and self-administer provided the proper forms have been completed and submitted to the Health Office.

At the end of the school year all medication must be picked up by the parent/guardian by the end of the last school day or the medication will be discarded.

Lions Club 
We are fortunate to have the support of the Lion’s Club to help pay for vision exams and glasses when this is a financial challenge for families. They can also assist with transportation to and from the appointment.
