We are excited to welcome our students and staff back from February break! March is shaping up to be a busy and exciting month here at Indian River.

Our winter sports seasons are wrapping up, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship our student-athletes have demonstrated throughout the season.

We are also thrilled to share that our talented drama students will be performing The Wizard of Oz on:

  • Friday, March 20

  • Saturday, March 21

  • Sunday, March 22

We hope you will join us to support our students and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic performance. Tickets can be purchased by visiting:

Important Reminders:

  • Early dismissal: Thursday, March 19

  • No school: Friday, March 20 (Teacher Workshops)

Additionally, following our successful Pink Out Day, we are proud to announce that we will be raising awareness for Colorectal Cancer Awareness this month. We invite students to join our staff in wearing blue on Friday, March 27 in support of this important cause.

Special awareness t-shirts—designed by students from MVRHS—are available for purchase. https://inkfactoryclothing.chipply.com/IRSCAW/

Shirts will be delivered directly to IRS unless you choose the $10 shipping option.

We look forward to seeing you at the show and to a wonderful month ahead at Indian River!

Warm regards,
