Erica Ball

We are excited to announce that our 8th Grade Awards Ceremony has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 17 at 10:00 AM, immediately following graduation practice. Parents are welcome to join us for the awards ceremony, which will be held in the MVRHS Auditorium.

Graduation will also take place on Wednesday, June 17 at 4:00 PM in the MVRHS Auditorium. Students should report to the MVRHS lunchroom at 3:30 PM. Each family will get 7 tickets for the graduation ceremony. Please fill out the Google Form to RSVP with the number of tickets you will need. We understand that you may not need all of the tickets available to you, and we would like to offer any extras to families who may need additional tickets.

We are also happy to share that we will be holding a floral fundraiser. We know many families enjoy purchasing flowers for their graduates, so we have partnered with Mica Mine Floral to offer small bouquets for $15 each. Each bouquet will include one daisy, one carnation, alstroemeria, and filler greens, beautifully wrapped as a bouquet. Orders and payments are due by Friday, June 5. Please reach out to Mrs. Ball with any questions.

To place an order, please fill out the Google Form and indicate how many bouquets you would like. Interested in a larger bouquet? Simply order two or more bouquets and note in the form that you would like them combined into one larger arrangement.

A couple more things to share about the end of the year: we will be completing our SAS testing this week, and we are so proud of the students and their efforts in doing their best! Eighth graders will also be participating in several exciting end-of-year activities, including:

  • VINS field trip on Thursday, June 11

  • Hartford Area Career & Technology Center tour on Monday, June 15

  • Field Day on Tuesday, June 16

There are so many things to look forward to!

And one last thing, please fill out the transportation request form for the high school.
