The Middle School AV Club is an innovative, hands-on program designed for students in grades 5–8, where creativity meets cutting-edge technology. Rooted in STEM education and reimagined as STEMMA: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Music, and Art. Our club empowers students to explore the growing world of digital media and production in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Students gain real-world experience in:

  • Photography and Cinematography

  • Livestreaming School Events

  • Video Newsletter Production

  • Introductory Web Design

  • Drone Technology and Aerial Footage

  • Auditorium Technical Operations (lighting, sound, and staging)

More than just an after-school activity, the AV Club is a launchpad for future creators, engineers, storytellers, and media professionals. It also serves as a pathway into our nationally ranked high school AV program, now operating as a nonprofit. That program produces full live coverage of every home game, runs major school performances, and prepares students for college and career opportunities in media and tech.

At the middle school level, we believe in igniting that same spark early, combining curiosity, creativity, and technical skills to help students discover their passion and find their voice through media.
